About Jean Marc XO Vodka
The sipping vodka employs a unique production process that is inspired by King Francis I: The Salamander King. What makes the vodka unique is the innovative micro-oxygenation process that Bordeaux winemakers use in order to achieve an extra-creamy, soft, and refined finish. Cutting-edge winemaking techniques and timeless traditions of the Cognac region, paired with raw materials of the highest quality, make Jean-Marc XO vodka the delicious, award-winning spirit that it is.
The artisanal process begins with the selection of 4 French epicurean wheat grains. After fermentation, these are distilled 5 times and filtered through charcoal in order to remove any impurities. Together with the micro-oxygenation technique, the process takes several weeks but results in a creamy and exceptionally smooth 80-proof vodka with hints of citrus, coconut, and cinnamon.

About Jean-Marc
Jean-Marc Daucourt fondly remembers gatherings that his grandfather would organize on Sundays at their home in France. Sitting around a table for hours eating, talking, and drinking Champagne, spirits, and wine, it was this type of socializing that inspired Daucourt to leave France and study distillation in Scotland and Germany. Upon his return to France, he teamed up with his brother Edward and purchased a distillery just outside the Cognac region in southwest France. After seven years of perfecting his recipe, which marries cutting-edge French wine-making techniques with age-old craftsmanship, Daucourt released Jean Marc XO Vodka to the world in 2004.
About Vodka
Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.
It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit’s main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.
Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
